Excited to be serving as an artist in residence for Hot Springs National Park for the next two weeks. I’m hoping to post daily. We’ll see how that goes. I’ll be working from an old ranger cabin at Gulpha Gorge campground- one of the prettiest little spots in the park.
On the second day of the new year, I traveled through Pine Bluff to the Arkansas Post, both the State and National Parks. The State Park had some very nice exhibits. I especially liked the log cabin. Unfortunately, part of the National Park was closed due to flooding, but I was able to take some nice scenic photos and visit the site where the very first Arkansas Gazette building was located. I took a different route home through DeWitt, Stuttgart, England and Keo. These are some of my favorite photos from the day.
